Dr. Peters wasn’t always a doctor. He used to be a kid growing up in Alhambra, California. He got into his share of mischief. Academics were secondary to goofing off with friends, but he managed to get in 3 semesters of college. After spending some time in the Marine Corps and a brief career with IBM, he took off heading east in his VW van to grow his hair and see the world (this was the late ‘60’s). He ended up in Boston where he developed an acute interest in natural healing. He studied Macrobiotics and Oriental Medicine under the master Michio Kushi. This time he excelled in academics – he had found his passion! After a few years he discerned that Chiropractic was his calling. He returned to Southern California and went back to college at age 30. He got nearly straight A’s and was chronically on the Dean’ List – he had a purpose, a lasting purpose. He graduated in 1979 from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic and has been practicing in the Orange County area since. Meet Cheryl, Sammy, Hannah and Abigail.
